My therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Psychodynamic. My therapeutic lens has a foundation rooted in understanding that lasting change and growth in therapy begins with a trusting and supportive therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. I believe that in order to thrive in our lives it is helpful to be aware of the conscious and unconscious mind. In a safe and supportive setting, I aim to make clients aware of patterns of thought and behavior that can generally be considered maladaptive in nature. It is through heightened awareness that we can make lasting changes in our thoughts, feelings, and behavior, in order to live fulfilling and satisfying lives. My clients have reported that they appreciate my calm demeanor, and the trust that they feel in the therapeutic relationship that we establish. If you are ready to take the next step, I am here to support and empower you. I would love to hear from you!
I received my Master's Degree in Psychology, Emphasis Community Mental Health from Phillips Graduate University, I also hold a Bachelor Of Arts Degree in Economics from California State University Northridge.
